Description
A shoe designed around a commute. Nothing on it will catch on a trouser hem or a car mat, the topline is cut low so it disappears under tailoring, and the sole is rubber — which matters more than it sounds when the walk from the station involves wet pavement and a set of station steps.
The upper has a solid, even finish and a round toe with a little room across the joints, so it works for a day that involves standing as well as sitting. Inside, a PU lining and PU footbed. The whole thing is deliberately anonymous: this is a shoe that does not want to be looked at, which is exactly right for five days a week.
Two colourways, black and dark brown, which between them cover every suit and every chino. Wipe the upper with a soft cloth; it is not waterproof, so standing water will get past the seams eventually. Half sizes are available across the range, from UK 6 to UK 9½.
