Description
A summer loafer with a longer line than most. The toe is drawn to a soft point rather than rounded off, which makes the foot look narrower and gives the shoe a cleaner profile under a cropped trouser. A plain strap crosses the vamp, and there is no hardware anywhere on it.
Inside, a mesh lining — the right choice for a warm-weather shoe, because it moves air instead of trapping it — over a fabric footbed. The sole is light rubber with a low profile. The whole shoe is built soft: nothing in it is stiffened, so it takes the shape of the foot almost immediately rather than needing to be worn in.
Two colourways, sand and tan, and they are close cousins: sand is the paler, cooler one that works with white and stone; tan is warmer and sits better against navy and olive. Both are pale enough to show a mark, which is the trade-off for a summer shoe. Wipe rather than soak, keep them dry, and note that this model runs to UK 8 only.
