Description
A flat platform rather than a wedge or a heel: the sole is raised evenly from toe to heel, so the foot sits level inside the shoe and walks exactly as it would in a flat, while standing a good centimetre or two off the ground. It is the least demanding way to add height to a shoe.
The upper is microfibre — the better grade of synthetic, with a grain to it rather than a plastic sheen, and it holds its shape around the topline instead of collapsing. Inside, PU lining over an EVA footbed with genuine cushioning; underneath, a rubber outsole with a stated anti-slip tread.
Four colourways: black, cream, burgundy and sand. Burgundy is the interesting one. The size run is a wide one, from UK 2½ to UK 8½, which makes it one of the few shoes here that fits at both ends of the range. For a slightly wide or full foot, take a size up. Not waterproof.
