Description
A tassel loafer reduced to a flat. The heel is gone, the sole is thin, and the tassels hang from a lace around the topline exactly as they do on the men's version — which is what keeps the shape recognisable rather than generic.
The shoe is unlined, so there is nothing between the foot and the upper: it is thinner, lighter and it moulds within a couple of wearings. The footbed is PU and the sole is rubber. The nap is short and even, and it is what gives a plain tan shoe some depth.
One colourway, tan, and it is the right one for this shape — warm, versatile and forgiving of wear. The material was listed as PU, with some ambiguity in the product title. We repeat both rather than take the flattering reading, and either way it should be brushed rather than wiped, and kept out of the rain.
