Description
A platform of two and a half centimetres is the sweet spot: enough to lift the foot clear of a cold pavement and give the shoe some presence, little enough that it still reads as a flat and walks like one. The whole sole is raised rather than just the heel, so there is no pitch and no strain across the arch.
The upper is genuine cow leather, stitched rather than glued, with a print texture worked into the surface. Inside, PU lining and footbed; underneath, rubber. The upper is rated water-resistant, which is a fair claim on a leather with no perforations anywhere in it — this is the solid version of the shoe.
Four colourways: cream, black, grey and white. Grey is the least obvious and the most useful. Cream and white are summer shoes and will show a mark, as pale leather always does. Do they need breaking in?

Can I wear them without socks?
