Description
Genuine leather outside and pig suede inside, on a wedge, at fifty pounds. The lining is the part worth dwelling on: pig suede against the foot rather than a synthetic, with a pigskin footbed under it. That combination is what stops a wedge from becoming uncomfortable after two hours, because leather absorbs where plastic holds.
The wedge runs the full length of the sole so the foot stays close to level — the shoe adds height without the pitch of a heel, and it walks like a flat. The upper is entirely plain: no strap, no hardware, no stitching in a contrast thread. Just a clean vamp and a round toe.
Three colourways: black, red and white. Red is the reason to look twice, and it is a proper red rather than a burgundy. White is a summer shoe that will mark.
