Description
The button is the detail that gives this shoe its character. Where most loafers use a slot, a bit or nothing at all, this one closes its vamp strap with a single button — a small, deliberate reference to school shoes and Japanese uniform styling, and the reason it looks like nothing else on the rack.
Underneath, a thick sole with a low block heel between 1 and 3 cm. It gives the shoe a solid, planted proportion that suits a pleated skirt or a wide trouser far better than a slim sole would. The shoe is unlined, so it sits close to the foot and breathes; the footbed is rubber.
