Description
The square toe is the whole silhouette. It cuts the front of the shoe flat instead of tapering it, which shortens the visual line of the foot and gives the shape a deliberate, modern squareness — the opposite instinct to the pointed flats elsewhere in the range, and a better match for a wide-leg trouser.
A metal trim sits across the vamp as the only ornament. The sole is EVA, which is what keeps the shoe light — noticeably lighter in the hand than a rubber-soled flat — and the footbed is PVC. The upper is rated water-resistant, plausible on a synthetic with no perforations.
Four colourways: cream, black, brown and burgundy. Burgundy is the one that lifts the set; cream is the summer choice and the one that will show a scuff first.
